The Program

  • The WV Tobacco Quitline is available to uninsured West Virginians, as well as those with Medicaid, Medicare or Private Insurance.

  • Participants who complete the program will engage in a minimum of four calls with a certified treatment tobacco specialist to assist in the quitting process, and will receive up to four shipments of nicotine replacement therapy.

  • Participants have 4 calls with a coach to assist the quitting process, and unlimited reactive coaching calls.

  • Receive an eight-week supply of nicotine patches, lozenges, or gum (delivered in 4 shipments).

  • Pregnant women and those under 18 may participate with physician approval.

  • Calls are confidential and based on each caller’s needs.

  • Services are available for users of cigarettes, snuff, vapes, and all other nicotine delivery products.
